The renowned anonymous casinos page has a new dimension and has been refined and rationalized to only include the truly, 100% anon sites that allow VPN, are available almost everywhere and don’t require any KYC.

Have you ever signed up to a casino that you thought was completely anonymous, only to be asked to input a postcode? We have, more than once to put it mildly, and it can really throw us off. You’re likely of a similar disposition. That’s when we realized that actually, there should be two separate categorizations and therefore two separate top lists.

Underneath the 30+ strong anonymous casinos toplist as well as the 10+ strong anonymous casino bonuses section you’ll find the new list. And, you can find out what the differences between ‘fully anonymous’ and ‘no KYC’ are in the content below. Coincidentally, both in this post and on the page itself!

The nuts and bolts

We’ve made the decision to add a new ‘No KYC Casinos’ toplist underneath the primary one – that we’ve renamed ‘Fully Anonymous Casinos’ – that features casinos that aren’t totally anonymous but do offer no documentation.

By this, we mean sites where you don’t have to send in your ID or passport, nor prove your address, but they might still require you to self-submit pieces of information. And, they might additionally be restricted in various regions.

These sites contrast with the 100% anonymous sites like Cryptorino (read review) and LTC Casino (see more) – both of which are completely on the down low without any personal info, barely any restrictions, and you can surf in private on VPN.

Cryptorino is unfortunately not allowing players from your country, but we would suggest that you check out LTC Casino instead.

Why we made the change

But, in a nutshell, anonymous casinos have all the same qualities as no-KYC casinos but with extra stuff on top like VPN usage being allowed and never having to submit any personal info, even minor stuff like a street name or the country you’re signing up from.

Our readers inform everything we do, and when we saw separate search queries and live chats about both anonymous casinos and no-KYC casinos we realized that not everybody uses the two synoymously. So, we decided to take the initative and provide two separate and unique toplists.

And, we also updated the accompanying content on the anonymous casinos page to explain exactly what the differences are. The benefit for some players isn’t as ‘serious’ as wanting total privacy, some just want to be able to access as many developers as possible. For example, on LTC Casino you can access from so many locations and also use a VPN… and on top of that there’s no KYC or IP logging either. This location freedom means you can unlock so many great games in a similar way to unblocking Netflix and using it as if you were in another country to get their exclusive titles.

What makes a fully anonymous casino?

Below we’re going to include some bullet points that help to clarify what a 100% anonymous casino is:

  • No KYC on sign up, deposit, or withdrawal
  • Doesn’t require any personal details beyond an email address
  • Often is unrestricted almost everywhere (or globally available)
  • VPN usage either outright encouraged or at least allowed
  • In some cases, no IP tracking or logging

Disappointing casinos that’s not anonymous

Many claims to be anonymous but before our tests conclude that it’s either a normal crypto casino, a no KYC one or an anonymous one – nothing is set in stone. One example is Awbit Casino (see review) that promised to be both decentralized and anonymous, but when it finally launched (6 months later than expectations), it’s clear that they focus on other things. Awbit Casino will ask for KYC after you reach 2000 in deposits or winnings – so it doesn’t classify for any of the toplists mentioned in this article. A similar story goes for Nab Casino (see review) that only accept VPN for playing more games, not for hiding your true location. In the end, it all depends on the legal team behind a crypto casino which route they take – and obviously also if they only accept crypto or if they also take fiat deposits. For those that only accept card deposits in order to buy crypto – they can still be fully anonymous.

What makes a no-KYC casino?

And here we’re going to summarize what consitutes a no-KYC casino on our site:

  • No KYC on sign up, deposit, or withdrawal
  • Personal details may be asked for
  • VPN usage discouraged or outright outlawed
  • Various country restrictions due to licensing constraints

Of course, these attributes are only for our site and not universal. It’s a means to classify sites into two separate lists, with the anonymous casinos standing as the pinnacle of what’s possible with Web3 iGaming. Some players value discretion and don’t want their gambling activities to be tracked by financial institutions, credit agencies, or other third parties. Properly anonymous crypto casinos, particularly those that don’t track IP addresses like ETH Play (check it out), offer a way to gamble without leaving a digital footprint.
