Are there any particular game trends you expect to become popular in 2023?
We’ve seen live streaming grow in recent years, with the phenomenon having a positive impact on engagement. In some ways, live streaming has become a necessity as it’s capable of showcasing elements of entertainment, showmanship and more importantly socialisation.
Younger demographics have different preferences to traditional ones as they’re raised on multiplayer video games. This is why modern audiences are very much proving to be a key driving force in pushing current and future trends. With more companies looking to grab the attention of younger players, we can expect trends like live streaming to grow exponentially in 2023.
Which game is your team most proud of to date?
We adore all of our releases, but if I had to mention a few that stand out it’d be: Hot Hot Fruit, Return to the Feature, Techno Tumble, Marvelous Furlongs, Scopa, Disco Beats and Nine Tails.
Hot Hot Fruit is simply an all-time classic in our portfolio, it’s definitely a fan-favourite and one of more most iconic releases. While Scopa was a game we designed with Italy in mind, but the title managed to find success all over Europe.
Titles like Techno Tumble, Return to the Feature and Marvelous Furlongs have also gained popularity due to their excellent dynamics and fantastic features, including rewind and calendar mechanics that have really enhanced the latter and made it a true player favourite.
Last but not least, Nine Tails and Disco Beats are two of our most recent releases that have made waves, and they demonstrate the fantastic progress we’ve made to our game design. These modern titles provide some of the best graphics available, making them a treat for all who find them.

If you could personally recommend only one of your games, which would it be?
It’s extremely difficult to cherry-pick one title when we have so many fantastic games on offer. While I’ve mentioned a few key titles above, I don’t think I can single out one from such a diverse and popular portfolio as ours. I’m sure every player that encounters our portfolio has a different favourite, there’s so much to choose from!
We’re set to launch Rainbow Mania, an exciting Irish-themed slot which spreads the magic of Saint Patrick’s Day. 
This captivating slot contains some enthralling visuals that are boosted by a host of thrilling features, such as Pot of Gold symbols that dish-out high paying Expanding Wilds.
From a commercial point of view, we’re also set to announce an agreement with one of the biggest names in the industry. I can’t share too much right now but we’re really excited about this announcement and can’t wait to reveal it in the coming weeks. It’s going to be a really big one!

Habanero are RNG certified for 22 markets. Any other regions that you wish to add to that long list?
As of now, there isn’t a specific market that stands out, however we do have some exciting plans and ideas in mind. As a supplier with global ambitions, expanding in key markets and growing across continents is certainly something we take seriously.
Like everyone else, we’ve considered the North American markets with the US and Canada showing a lot of promise. But we’re also trying not to neglect what South America can offer, with Colombia and Argentina reporting tremendous financial growth, and we’ve been hugely popular there since launching on the continent a couple of years ago.
Which slot or video poker game was most popular among players in 2022?
The iconic Hot Hot Fruit title managed to captivate more players last year, it currently sits at the number one spot for best performing slots leading into January 2023. 
Meanwhile, Mystic Fortune Deluxe, Mighty Medusa, Candy Tower and Soju Bomb make up rest of the top five. It’s no surprise that players were mesmerised by these games, with each one featuring a robust design and helping users win big with the help of some fascinating features.
In regard to our table games, American Blackjack, BlackJack 3 Hand and Baccarat Zero Commission were the titles that took the top three spot for best performing titles in 2022. It’s no surprise, as these are high volatility games that provide a land-based experience to the comforts of player’s homes.
Crypto Lists says: Markus‘ favourite from 2022 is Tuk Tuk Thailand, while Tom really enjoys Dragon Tiger Gate, and Marcus cannot stay away from Golden Unicorn Deluxe as it offers a nice jackpot.
Have you noticed any changes in the currency or cryptocurrencies that players use that last year?
We haven’t really seen any significant chances in regard to cryptocurrency. It’s something that’s been around for a while now and has become quite refined and established. We offer cryptocurrencies on our platform, but we’ve found that it’s not extremely popular with our player base, as they prefer to use more traditional methods of payment.
