In case you missed it, Skilling – one of the most reputable commodities, stocks, and crypto brokers in the world – completed their rebrand last month. Crypto Lists thought we’d give you an overview before you head to the site to see for yourself.

After launching in Scandinavia just over three years ago, today they’re one of Europe’s leading brokers for currency trading. Skilling’s journey from newcomer to heavyweight is undeniably impressive. To build upon these superb foundations, a rebranding was carried out, where the value, flexibility and quality that the company promotes has been emphasized even further.

From newcomer to established favorite

Crypto Lists has followed the Swedish broker Skilling’s impressive journey with great interest since their launch on the Scandinavian market in 2018-2019. From unknown newcomer to well-established and trusted customer favourite. After almost four years in the industry and with the trust and customer base that Skilling now has, it was high time to stop calling itself a newcomer, and instead start emphasizing that it is now a hugely popular, award-winning and valued favorite among traders all over Europe. The rebranding that was launched in October was perfectly timed.

What is Skilling and who is behind it?

Skilling is a Scandinavian fintech company focused on offering currency trading and other online trading to both private and institutional customers. The company was founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs Henrik Persson Ekdahl, André Lavold and Mikael Riese Harstad. All with a background from both the fintech and trading industry. A little over two years later, the brokerage service was launched on the Scandinavian market, and since then it has grown rapidly.

Today, Skilling is one of Europe’s leading currency brokers, with several prestigious awards behind it. Recently the platform was named Best Forex Trading Platform in both Europe, Latin America, as well as globally at this year’s edition of the Global Forex Awards. Impressive stuff!

Skilling offers first-class CFD trading with currencies, cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices, commodities and also exciting ETFs. Currently, there are over 1,000 different assets to trade, but the range is growing all the time with new interesting instruments being added. Customers can choose to trade on the proprietary Skilling Trader platform, or use classics such as MT4 or cTrader. Skilling Copy is also available for those who want to copy other traders’ strategies and/or share their own.

Finally, it should also be mentioned that Skilling is of course available both on the web and in app format for iOS and Android. Skilling with MT4 can also be used on your desktop computer or laptop.

What does Skilling stand for?

From the start, Skilling has emphasized its overarching goal of making online trading easy and accessible to everyone. It stands for ease of use, financial trading in a safe and secure environment, transparency and fair conditions. No hidden fees and nothing hidden in small print.

On their website, they also emphasize that they think that trading should be something for everyone – not just for experienced traders. With this kind of innovation and responsiveness to what customers at all different levels want, they have created a trading environment without restrictions. There’s room for the absolute beginner, as well as for the professional trader. They have high-quality educational materials for those who want to learn the basics right alongside advanced instruments and tools for those who want to take their trading to the next level.

How is Skilling’s rebranding communicated?

Right from the get go, Skilling has always tried to stand out with more value, more control and more flexibility. After the rebrand, they have taken a slightly different tone to many other online crypto trading sites, many of which primarily choose to emphasize the huge range of assets, high collateral opportunities, offers and so on.

However, that doesn’t mean Skilling doesn’t have a good range, or offer leveraged trading. On the contrary. The range of premium assets is more than enough. Up until now, they have also stood out as a rising star on the market – but with almost four years behind them and a stable customer base, they have now chosen to change the tone a little.

Skilling is all about speed

The rebranding continues to put a lot of emphasis on control for users, transparency, security and how customers can get even more value out of their trade. The label of a new market entrant has been replaced by one as a safe, well-established industry leader. However, something that is not given much space in marketing – but should be – is speed. With an average execution time of just 0.05 seconds, Skilling is one of the absolute fastest on the market, with minimal slippage as a result.

In addition to that, it is also difficult to find a site where you can get started faster than at Skilling. This is absolutely the right direction for the company, as many people are fed up with outdated KYC processes that take a couple of days from registration to that you can actually start shopping. Skilling, as the progressive company it is, instead offers registration with BankID for all Scandinavian customers. A service which means that account verification takes place in seconds – and that you then have the green light for trading. For residents of other countries, the KYC procedure is a little longer, but this is reassuring since you know you’re dealing with a reputable brand.

The Scandinavian CFD broker Skilling is adding the heavily discussed bank, Credit Suisse, to their list of CFDs. The entire stock- and crypto market was in free fall after worries that both Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank could collapse last week. Al Jazeera reported that while it mostly could be rumours, the need for a restructuring of the business is clear. Credit Suisse shares in Switzerland is trading at 88.75 CHF in 2007 and stood at 4.44 CHF when writing this. That is a drop of over 80% since the top. So, are you long or short? Trade Credit Suisse with Skilling today!

Breaking: Skilling lower spread to Zero for DogecoinBreaking: Skilling lower spread to Zero for Dogecoin
    Friday, 30 Sep 2022 1:27 pm
One of Scandinavia's favourite cryptocurrency brokers that offer Dogecoin CFDs, just gone out with a new announcement. They are lowering the spread to zero for all Dogecoin CFD transactions, making competing crypto CFD brokers angry. The only crypto pair with Dogecoin that Skilling (see review) got is DOGE/USD, tradable as a CFD. While many cryptocurrencies are going down in lately, Dogecoin is one of few that has been showing signs that a upward price breakout is possible. In the beginning of the week, DOGE increased 18%, following a long period of declining prices. Still, many crypto pessimists believe that this top rated meme coin should continue down. What do you think will happen with DOGE? Register to go either long or short with Skilling here!...
